Pesto alle erbe

I found this recipe in a magazine called Sale e Pepe. It had such a success that I have already prepared it 3 times in the past month. While the pasta is cooking, the sauce can be prepared. It takes no more than 10 minutes!


(use only fresh erbs)
1 handful of parsley
half handful of thyme
4 leaves of sage
the leaves of 2 branches of rosmary
1 clove of garlic
20 g toasted pine seeds
40 g melted butter


1. While the pasta is cooking (spagetti, penne or tagliatelle) put in the mixer all the erbs, the garlic, the pine seeds and the half of the melted butter.
2. When it is completely mixed, add the lft over butter and the salt.
3. Pour it on the hot pasta (don't rinse the pasta with cold water!!!).
4. Optional: serve it with grated parmesan cheese.
